ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Business Management (PGDIBM) is designed as an exclusive and unique course incorporating all the essential subjects required as curriculum to educate and train graduates in the domain of Islamic Business Management. The course will enable students to learn and qualify with principles of Islamic Business Management. This knowledge will assist them in making the business Shariah compliant.

Like any other Business School, the Islamic Business School is an academically autonomous, self accredited institution not affiliated to any University. The coveted qualification will have industry acceptability depending on the candidate's presentation on the subject to the prospective employer.

THE PROGRAM WILL BE CONSTITUTED FROM THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS

Introduction to the program.

Principles of Strategic Business Management.

Background of Islamic Business Management.

Islamic Business Ethics in the light of Quran (Holy Text), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Hadeeth (Sayings of the Holy Prophet).

Principles of Business Economics.

Islamic Business and Trading Contracts.

Global Business entities.

Islamic Marketing strategy

Brief study of Islamic banking and Finance.

Principles of Foreign Exchange, Foreign Trade and Letters of Credit.

Islamic Insurance – Takaful.

Islamic Investments and wealth management.

Basic study of principles of Zakath.

Business Correspondence.

duration and STUDY MATERIAL

DURATION

The Program is designed under the UK pattern of Flexible Learning Convenience, that is, there are no fixed scheduled periodic examinations like the conventional system. The formal duration of the Program is One Year But can be completed earlier depending on completion of all academic formalities.

STUDY MATERIAL

Entire study material will be either E-mailed or sent through Drop Box as instructed. Assessment Tests and case study can be sent on e mail. All other details are given in the E Prospectus.

MODE OF LEARNING

The School will adopt any of learning modes to impart the curriculum with future updates. Presently E-Learning and online learning through Drop Box will be offered with the entire material available on the web drop box. The study material will be supported by video classroom sessions.
